Zynga Hits 129M Monthly Users

Today Zynga announce that it currently served over 129 million users monthly. The company reported 30 million monthly active users monthly back in April of 2009, which means the company has remarkably gained nearly 100 million new monthly active users within six months. Zynga's number of monthly active unique users is 70 million, so approximately 50 million of those unique users are playing multiple Zynga titles on a regular basis. Zynga's estimate for daily active users is 34 million.

According to Zynga, FarmVille now serves 50 million users, which makes the game larger in terms of population than the nation of Canada. The game contains 40 million farms (twenty times the number of real farms in the United States) and an average in-game day sees 500,000 tractors sold to help users till their land.

Mafia Wars serves roughly 25 million users monthly, probably hurt somewhat by intense competition when it comes to this type of social game, with users completing roughly 140 million jobs daily. The newly-renamed Zynga Poker is now the largest poker social game on Facebook, dealing 150 million hands to players per day (as opposed to 11 million hands per day in Las Vegas). At any given time on a typical day Zynga Poker serves about 250,000 concurrent players, which is three times the number of people that will fit into an NFL football stadium.

Zynga's YoVille virtual world is now the largest virtual world operating on a social network platform, with 17 million residents. That makes YoVille larger than Mumbai, the real
